Jackie L. Eide

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jacqueline L. Eide, who left us on Sunday, November 16th, 2025, at the age of 73. Jackie, who lived with her daughter in Bartlett, Illinois, was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, where she cultivated a lifelong love for her hometown and its culinary delights.

Jackie was the beloved daughter of the late Elmer and Elaine Eide and is preceded in death by her siblings, Evelyn, Carole, and Dolores. She leaves behind her devoted daughter, Alexa (Dan) Ristow, who was the center of her universe. Jackie’s love extended to her grand-pups, Saki and Kuma, who brought her immense joy and companionship.

A dedicated purchaser, Jackie took pride in her professional career, always ensuring her work reflected her meticulous nature and strong work ethic. Outside of her work, Jackie embraced her love for food, especially savoring Chicago's iconic hot dogs and Italian beef sandwiches. Her passion for cooking was matched by her love for the serenity she found in Sedona, Arizona, a place she cherished deeply.

Above all, Jackie's greatest joy in life was her daughter, Alexa, whom she adored beyond measure. Their bond was a testament to Jackie's nurturing spirit and unconditional love.
