Jacob Kaplan

Jacob “Jake” Allen Kaplan, 27, of Cary for his entire life, died Friday, May 15, 2015. Born December 15, 1987. Jake was the son of Bruce and Debbie (nee Geweke). Jake was a natural at playing the guitar, he was adventurous and never hesitated to pack a bag and travel by himself enjoying many U.S. National Parks, hunting for natural springs and just being in nature. He was in to physical and spiritual development. Jake was a graduate of Cary-Grove High School in 2006. His caring heart and warm smile will be missed by many. Survivors include his parents; brothers Brian (Natalie), Kevin (Natalie); sister Amy (Shaun) Johnson; nieces and nephews Parker, Alexis, Elijah, Isaac, Jordyn and Sydney; grandparents Robert and Beverly Kaplan and several uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Richard and Lois Geweke. Memorial visitation Saturday, May 30, 2015 from 2:00p.m. until time of service 4:00p.m. at Fel-Pro RRR Conservation Park Pavilion, 1520 Crystal Lake Rd, Cary. Arrangements and cremation by Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, Bartlett.
