Jaquelyn “Jackie” M. Schoenwolf (nee Smith), 78, of Elgin died Saturday, June 12, 2021. Born April 4, 1943. Jackie was a sports fan and loved the Cubs and Bears. She enjoyed water volleyball, bocci ball, gardening, going out to eat and traveling to warm places like Florida and Las Vegas. She will be missed by her family. Beloved wife of Rich; loving mom of Rich (Roseann) and Mike (Kim) Schoenwolf; cherished grandma of Tyler; caring daughter of the late Virgil and Marie (nee Schultz) Smith; kind sister of Diane, Jerry, Patti, Lorie and the late James and Mickey and dear aunt to many. Visitation 1:00p.m. until time of service 3:00p.m., Saturday, June 19, 2021 at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 95 S Gilbert St (at State St), South Elgin. Following services, cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory.
