Jack Viverito, 89, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on January 8, 2022 of Bartlett and formerly of Chicago, where he was born on December 8, 1932, surrounded by family. He married his beautiful bride, Donna "Fay", nee Pettipas on October 24, 1981; father of Jack (Ruth), Robin (Joe) Irons, step father of Shawn (Janeth) MacLean and Stewart MacLean; grandpa of Jack C., Nick, Kyle, Joey, Janelle, Justin and Kay Ann; cousin of many; son of the late Jack "Sailor" and Charlotte. He was also preceded in death by his dog, Smurf.
 
 He worked as a draftsman for Arvey Corporation for nearly 20 years. After that he was a commercial motors salesman for Reliance Electric for another 20 years until his retirement. In his free time, he was very active in camera clubs, winning awards for his pictures. In his younger years, he enjoyed playing golf, tennis and continued watching pro tennis until the very end. He was enthusiastic about computers, participated in computer clubs and even swapped hardware components himself, which was unusual for someone his age. Later he took up woodworking, making all sorts of things including Bean Bag boards which were sold at craft shows. He enjoyed lunching with the Little Boys Club made up of older gentlemen from his church. He adored his grandchildren and delighted in attending their many sporting events and sure was a proud grandpa. He was a wonderful storyteller and always had jokes to keep people laughing. People loved him everywhere he went.
 
 Memorial visitation, Saturday, January 29th at 10:00 am until the time of his memorial service 11:00 am at Saint Charles Episcopal Church 994 N 5th Ave, St. Charles, IL 60174. His urn will be taken to Union Cemetery for burial. In lieu of flowers donations to the American Cancer Society, American Kidney Association or the American Heart Association would be appreciated.
