Jack received a Bronze Star while serving with the US Air Corp (1942-1945) in the Aleutian Islands.
Jack died peacefully at his daughters home after a short bought with lung cancer

Loving father of Jerry (Denise), Michael (Linda), Richard (Nancy) and Donna (Richard) Durgin
Caring pa pa pa of 9 grandchildren and 4 greatgrandchildren
Preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters

Visitation Tuesday 3:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home, 333 S. Roselle Rd. (1/2 mile south of Irving Park Rd.) Roselle
Funeral Wednesday 9:30 a.m. to St. Walter church, mass 10:00a.m. Interment St. Michael the Archangel.
Donations to Alexian Brothers Hospice 1515 E. Lake St., Ste. 206 Hanover Park, Il. 60133 would be appreciated.
