Jack F. Lorbach, 72, of Hanover Park for 42 years died Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at home. Born July 7, 1936 in Chicago, the son of Frank and Headwig, nee Habele.
Jack enjoyed working hard, collecting coins and doing crossword puzzles. He especially enjoyed being with his grandchildren.
Survivors include wife of 48 years Lynn, nee Cousineau; daughters Jacqueline (Robert) Dussing and Stephanie (Robert) Melau; grandchildren John, Daniel, Matthew, Jennifer, Catherine, Anthony, Zachary, Allie, Sam and Paige; great-grandchildren Megan, Sarah, Madison and Blake; sister Joan and special pets Spike and Silver.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of service 12 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home, 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd, Streamwood. Interment Ridgewood.
