Jack Gilliam of West Chicago formerly of West Virginia; beloved husband of Cynthia nee Steinke; loving father of Kenneth (Dawn) of South Elgin and Matthew of West Chicago; dear brother of David (Coloajean) of Alabama, Michael (Kathy) of West Virginia, Pauline (Gene “Killer”) Brown of West Virginia, Charles (the late Patty) of West Virginia,Linda (Dexter) Thomas of West Virginia and the late Bobby Gene (Phyllis) the late Billy Joe (Ann); cherished son of the late John and late Grace nee Matney; uncle to many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews; a friend to many. He was an employee of Chicago Lighting, he loved the outdoors enjoying golf, bowling and fishing. Visitation Sunday 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home & Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd., (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Funeral Service Monday 10:30 a.m. Following services cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory. In lieu of flowers donations to the American Heart Association 208 S.
