Dorothy Sophie DiVenere (nee Kregall),101, died Sunday, November 18, 2018 in Bartlett. Born February 6, 1917 in Cleveland. Dorothy enjoyed cooking, gardening, reading mysteries and most importantly, being with her family. Beloved wife of the late Jack; loving mom of William (Mary K) and Toni (Henry) Alfred; cherished grandma of David, Amy (Eddie) Sheridan and great grandma of Ashley & Sierra (twins), Anna, Ethan, Avery; kind daughter of the late Walter and Anna (nee Polinski) Kregall and sister of the late Helen, Charlotte, Bill and Casimir. Memorial visitation for both Dorothy and Jack will be 12:00 pm until time of memorial service 2:00 pm Saturday, November 24, 2018. Cremation was private at the Countryside Crematory. In lieu of flowers, memorial donation to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org or St Jude Children's Research Hospital, www.stjude.org, would be appreciated.
