Visitation for J. Edgard Guevara of Bloomingdale, formerly of El Salvador will be held Friday, March 17, 2017 4:00 - 9:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 333 S. Roselle Rd. (1/2 mile south of Irving Park Rd.) Roselle. Funeral Saturday will be private.
He is the beloved father of Maria (James) Jarvis, Elisa (Carlos) Gamio, Claudia (William) Wolski, Jose (Gloria) Guevara, Nicolette Guevara; cherished grandfather of Alec and Emma Jarvis, Carlos (Michelle) Gamio and Diego Gamio, William and Gabriella Wolski, Kristina and David Guevara; proud great grandfather of Eva and Jacob; dear brother of the late Alberto Medrano; fond uncle of Carolina Medrano and Cindy Handwerker. Former husband of Emma Guevara Mercado. Jose will also be missed by his chihuahua "Peanut".
