Prayers for J. Thomas "Tom" Carrico of Schaumburg for 40years will be held Thursday 9:15a.m. at Countryside Funeral Home 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.) Streamwood/Schaumburg to St. Marcelline Church. Mass 10:00a.m. Interment St. Michael the Archangel.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home Wednesday 3:00 - 8:00p.m.
Born April 21, 1937 in Fancy Farm, KY, Tom died Sunday March 20, 2011.
Retired after 30 years service in sales at Nabisco in Glenview, Tom worked the Pro Shop manager at Rolling Knolls Country Club in Elgin and recently as a week-end custodian at St. Marcelline Church in Schaumburg.
He is the beloved husband of 48 years of Sharon nee Zielinski; loving father of Bridget (Patrick) Smith of So. Elgin, Tom (Darlene) of So. Elgin and Kelley (Sal) Molina of Elgin; proud grandfather of Claire and Emily Smith, Vincent Carrico, Isabelle and MacKenzie Molina; devoted son of the late Roy and Lela nee Roberts Carrico; dear brother of Dorothy Gallo, Ann Wilson, Paul Carrico, Fran Jeffers, Betty Lou Henry, Jim Carrico, Bill Carrico, Chuck Carrico, Jean Tice, May Bagdon, Kay Sicilani and Pat Fisher; many loving nieces and nephews.
