Visitation for Ivor F. Fruehling of Roselle, formerly of Arlington Heights, will be held Tuesday August 20, 2013 4:00 - 8:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 333 S. Roselle Rd. (1/2 mile south of Irving Park Rd.) Roselle. Wednesday lying in state 9:30a.m. until time of service 10:00a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church 405 S. Rush St. Roselle. Interment Fairview Memorial Park.

Born April 19, 1921 in Sandusky, IA, Ivor died Saturday August 17, 2013.

He is the beloved husband of the late Dorothy nee Kibbey; loving father of Judith Wade, James (Karen Shankman), Pamela (Kenneth) Sherman and Peggy Siems; cherished grandfather of Wendy (Michael) Elsenbroek, Jennifer (Peter) Hulen, Kevin and Daniel Wade, Keith (Amy) and Christopher (Kim) Fruehling, Jonathan (Kristin) Sherman, Laurie (Patrick) Krook, James (Julie) Sherman, Bradley (Katherine Green) and Scott (fiance Tara LaRose) Deibel; proud great grandfather of Benjamin, Julia and Jonathan Perez, Bret and Jon Elsenbroek, Sophia and Cyrus Hulen, Brittany, Nicholas, Taylor and Sydney Fruehling, Eli and Ian Sherman, Josephine, Jackson and Samuel Krook and Katelyn Sherman; dear brother of Lois Sheffler, Delmar, Donald, Merlin, Vernon, Delores Pritchard and the late Eugene and Craig; many loving nieces and nephews.
