Isabelita R. Ordonez, 73, of Lake In the Hills, IL, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2025. Lita, as she was known by many, was born November 19, 1951, in the Philippines. In her youth, she was very active in the Girl Scouts of the Philippines all the way through nursing school. After college, she immigrated to the United States to start her career; she was a passionate and dedicated nurse for over 40 years. She also loved to travel and make people laugh, but her greatest joy was spending time with family, especially her children and grandchildren. She will be missed dearly.
Beloved wife of the late Monico Ordonez, Jr.; cherished mother of Mel Ordonez, Mark (Christina) Ordonez, and Michelle (Jessie) James; loving grandma of Maximus, Alexander, Aubrey, and Charlotte; adored daughter of the late Angeles and Sotera (nee Pulido) Del Rosario; kind sister of Nilo Del Rosario and the late Nora, Aning, Efren, and Angelino; caring niece of Exequiel Pulido; and fond aunt and loyal friend to many.
Her Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 12:00PM at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 1640 S. Greenmeadows Blvd, Streamwood. Visitation will follow from 1:00PM to 8:00PM. Please come dressed as you normally would. Lita would want her celebration to be a family party like the ones she loved attending when her children were young. Following services, cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory.
