Visitation for Irma T. Costner of Lombard will be held Thursday 3:00 - 9:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Funeral Friday 10:00a.m. Interment Acacia Park.
Born December 9, 1929 in Chicago, Irma died Friday March 18, 2011.
She spent the majority of her working years at Zenith in Chicago. An avid bowler, she loved being with her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She taught her family so much more than how to say "I love you" in sign language but also how to truly laugh with a whole heart.
She is the beloved mother of Lucille (Chuck Goodie) of Leesburg, FL, Eli (Karin) of Carol Stream, Debbie (Duane Schuring) Schulz of Maple Park and the late Robert; loving grandmother of 19; cherished great grandmother of 26 and proud great great grandmother of 2; dear sister of Martha Andre, George Tenyer, Anna DePaul and Nancy Adcock.
