Irene May Mogensen, 88, passed away peacefully March 7, 2016. Irene was the beloved mother of Gary (Nancy), Bill, Gale (the late Gary) Ponti, Lynn (Doyle) Gates, Nancy (Rick) Tivy and Ray; proud grandmother of Amy, Sara, Marissa, Christy, Nick, Danny, Jessie, Sharon, Katie, Kelley, Alec, Ricky, Ryan, McKenna, Kailee and the late Randy; cherish great grandmother of 4.
Family was very important to Irene. She enjoyed cooking and entertaining for her family. She doted on her grandchildren.
Visitation Thursday, 4:00p.m. – 9:00p.m. at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 333 S. Roselle Road (1/2 mile South of Irving Park Road) Roselle. Funeral Friday, 9:30a.m. Interment Acacia Park Cemetery.
