Irene Langel nee Sturak, 78 of Bartlett, died Sunday, February, 7, 2010. Born October, 13, 1931 in Maizeville, Penn. She was the daughter of Michael and Julia, nee Litchko. Irene enjoyed being at home with her family.
Survivors include children Kenneth (Patricia), Edward (Kimberly), Karen (Robert) Braden, Cathy (Frank) Perricone and Barbara (Steven) Schubert; grandchildren Lindsey (Adam) Papinchock, Sarah, Steven, Sarina (Josh) Gelvan, Angela, Jennifer, John and Nichole; great grandchild Frankie; sisters Helen Bajdek, Julia Hatrack, Evelyn Sandor, and Olga McNulty and brothers John and Russell Sturak.
She was preceded in death by her husband Edwin Jr, parents, sisters mary and Ann and brothers Mickey and Pete.
Visitation Wednesday 3:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home & Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Funeral Service Thursday 10:00 a.m. Interment Bartlett Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Bartlett Veterans Memorial Foundation, P.O. Box 8412, Bartlett, IL 60103 or St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, Memorial and Honor Program, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
