Ilse Suess

Ilse Suess, 82, of Schaumburg, IL, passed away at the JourneyCare hospice facility in Barrington, IL on Sunday, Nov. 1, 2015.
She was born in Germany, the daughter of the late Ludwig and Luise Zengerle.
Mrs. Suess immigrated to the USA in January 1952 with her brother and parents. She was a dressmaker in Germany, and continued the trade while a homemaker for her family of five children.
She and her beloved husband, Gerhard, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in July 2006. He passed away in December 2006.
Surviving are her loving children, Gary Suess, Robert Suess, Heidi (Scott) Filippi, Erika Suess and Doris (Al) Moreno. She was the proud Oma (grandmother) of Christopher (Lauren) Suess, Ryan (Chelsea) Suess, Monica Moreno, Madison and Riley Filippi, and Alexandra Bopp-Suess. She was a devoted sister to Gunter Zengerle and her nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday from 3:00pm until 9:00pm at The Countryside Funeral Homes and Crematory, 333 South Roselle Rd., Roselle. Funeral Saturday, lying in state 10:00am until time of service 11:00am at Trinity Lutheran Church, 405 S. Rush St., Roselle. Burial will follow in Lakewood cemetery.
