Ida “Lynn” E. Pokorny (nee Purton), 84, of Elgin, died Wednesday, April 18, 2018. Born November 28, 1933 in London. Beloved wife of the late George; loving mom of Robert (Julie), Carol (Ron) Doodeman, Kym (Mike) Ek, Richard (Amy) and David (Kathleen); cherished grams of Mathew, Michael, Ryan, Erica, Alex, Matthew, Kathryn, Jessica, Stefanie, Megan, Nicholas, Trevor, Katrina and Amy; dear G. G. of Julia, Jillian, Laura, Jacob, Zoey, Jayce, Aubrey, Lana, Mac, Nicoli, Desiree, Gianna, Gabriel and Kayden and kind daughter of the late Fredrick and Ida (nee Morris) Purton. Lynn enjoyed reading, especially at the Gail Borden Library in Elgin, poetry, movies and spending time with her family.
