Howard Rau

Howard C. Rau, 92, of Elk Grove Village for 54 years, passed away peacefully Tuesday March 31. A World War II veteran, Howard was a tool and die maker for over 50 years, an avid fisherman, and a true example of a father. Loving husband of Virginia(nee Palm) for 64 years; beloved dad of Laurie(Scott) Wright, Donna Rau, Howard(Danielle), and the late William; proud Poppie of Ashley and Danielle Wright and Tyler and Brandon Rau; dear brother of the late Edward(the late Marguerite), the late William(the late Miriam), and the late Claire(the late Michael) Powalaczek; fond brother in law and loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.
