August 11, 1955 — April 25, 2021

Hernani B. Leandicho, 65, of Elgin passed away peacefully at home on April 25, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer surrounded by loved ones.

He is the beloved husband of Jackie for 31 years; loving father of Renan Jay, Rona May (Ron) Gatdula, Rosel Ann (Joey) Barhoumeh and Randy Jim Leandicho; proud grandfather of Isaiah Hernani and best friend of German Shepherd Sophie.

Hernani enjoyed cooking, playing and watching tennis and likes watching TV. His friends and families loved his smiles, his sense of humor and very kind hearted personality.

Visitation Sunday May 2, 3:00pm - 9:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd (at Barrington Road) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Funeral Monday 9:15am to St. John the Evangelist Church, Mass 10:00am. Following services cremation will be private at Countryside Crematory. In lieu of flowers donations to the American Cancer Society www.cancer.org would be appreciated.
