Henry Mayer

Henry F. Mayer. Henry was the loving husband of Trudy. They were together over 50 years. He leaves behind his cherished dogs (kids) Maddie, Lucy and Gigi. He was the loving brother to Astrid and Corinna (Warner) Bier of Germany. He was close to his brother-in-law Larry, sister-in-law Liz and sister-in-law Theresa. He was loved by many nieces, nephews, grand-nephews and grand-nieces. He was preceded in death by his mother Elfrieda, his father Heinir and his stepmother Mutti. He loved very much his mother-in-law Elizabeth and father-in-law Stefan who lived with Henry and Trudy for 27 years.

He was a Marine Corp veteran, having served his country from 1967-1973. Six months of those in Viet Nam. He was hurt in 1968 and spent the next 10 months stationed at the Great Lakes Naval Station. From there he spent the rest of his service at Camp Pendleton, CA. He was a hard worker, but usually found the fun way to get it done. His employees all loved him and so did some of his accounts.
