Hank Lemoine

Henry A. "Hank" Lemoine, 87, of Elk Grove Village, passed away peacefully February 12, 2026. An Army Veteran, Hank was a letter carrier for over 30 years, retiring in 1993. An avid Chicago White Sox and Minnesota Vikings fan, he was a known jokester, a great tipper, and devout animal lover. Beloved husband of Barbara L. (nee Smith); loving father of Joyce (Chris) Groves, Deborah (Paul) Lemmon, Kimberly (the late Scott Lipinski) Wilson, and the late Christina Marie (Michael) Buazard; cherished grandfather of Patrick Flannagan, Nicole (Ashton) Copeland, Jade (Michael) Davis, Madeline Durkin, and Alberto "AJ" (Ruth) Cruz, Jr.; proud great grandfather of Anthony, Lillian, Michael III, Jamenson "JP", Oliver, and Audree; dear brother of Maurice "Mo" (Sandra) Lemoine, the late Leo (Judie) Lemoine, the late Jeannette (Joseph) Bontempo, and the late Arlene Lemoine; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews; devoted dog dad of Georgie, Lucy, and Angel. Visitation Tuesday, February 17 from 11:00am until time of funeral service 1:00pm at Grove Memorial Chapel 1199 S. Arlington Heights Rd., Elk Grove Village, IL. Interment Memory Gardens Cemetery.
