Helen Szybinski

Helen M. Szybinski (nee Stechly), 93, of Streamwood, passed away Monday, August 16, 2021. A founding member of St. John The Evangelist Church, Helen was a devout animal lover who spent her last years at Victory Center enjoying the bingo group, praying the rosary, and spending time with Daisy, the house dog. Beloved wife of the late Leonard; loving mother of Mary (Wayne) Walschot; dear sister of the late Stanley (the late Emily) Stechly and the late Jean (the late Ed) Zalas; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews. Visitation Thursday, August 19 from 9:00am until time of prayers 10:15am at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.), Bartlett, to St. John the Evangelist Church. Mass 11:00am. Following services cremation private at Countryside Crematory. Interment St. Michael the Archangel. Info (630)289-7575
