Helen Sullivan

Helen Marie Sullivan (nee Breeher), 88, of Elgin formerly of Hanover Park passed away peacefully surrounded by family May 13, 2015. Helen was the beloved wife of the late John L. “Jack” Sullivan and the late Julius W. Glatz; loving mother of Gerald (Judith), Richard (Cathy), Kathleen (Richard “Dennis”) Dobson, Steve (Gayle) and the late Nancy Glatz; proud grandmother of 12; cherished great grandmother of 22.

Helen was a secretary for Carmelite Provincial House in Barrington for 25 years. She taught first and third grades for many years and was also a bookkeeper for over 35 years for J. Sullivan and Associates.

Visitation for Helen Sunday, May 17, 3:00p.m. – 8:00p.m. at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 95 S. Gilbert Street (at Middle Street) South Elgin. Funeral Monday 10:00a.m. to St. Ansgar Church Mass 11:00a.m. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to Alzheimer’s Association www.alz.org would be appreciated.
