Helen Schweitzer

Helen Schweitzer nee Maitland, of Genoa, formerly of DesPlaines, IL and Westville, IN, died December 7, 2013. Beloved wife of the late William; loving mother of Lois (Joe) Rocha of Genoa, and Marilyn (Bob) Schoonover of Macon, MO; proud grandmother of Michael (Jami) Bayes, Steven (Renee) Bayes, Bill (Mickey) Schoonover, Robert Schoonover, Mary Susan (Travis) Abeln, Joseph (Diane) Rocha, Christine Rocha, Karen (Frank) Babich, Michael (Ann)Rocha, and Dan Rocha; proud great-grandmother of Rachel (Robert) Lowrence, Kristina Bayes, Molly, Robert, and Andrew Schoonover, Trevor and Trent Abeln, Emily and Ethan Schoonover, Christopher, David, and Jessica Rocha, Joseph Pepper, Brennan (Sarah) Loptien, and Samuel, Mary, and Caleb Rocha; proud great-great-grandmother of Dane, Finely, and Stella. Helen was preceeded in death by her parents.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Genoa, and a member of Neighbors of America for over 60 years.
Lying in state at Trinity Lutheran Church, 33930 N. State Rd., Genoa, IL from 10am until time of service at 11:00am on Thursday, December 12, 2013. Interment private at Woodlawn Cemetery.
