Helen Blum

Helen N. Blum nee Ullrich, of Schaumburg. Beloved wife of the late James W.; loving mother of Bruce (Nancy), Gary (Nancy) and Scott (Jennie); cherished grandmother of Trevett (Tim),Christopher (Nora), Tricia, Timothy (Judy), Tiffany (Rob), Tawny, Courtney, Ashley (Patrick), Justin, Kevin, and Ethan; proud great grandmother of Molly, Elise, Dominick, Joe, Ryan, Cole, Roman, Braylon, and Maddox; dear sister of Joyce (Fred) Hayden, Jacob, and the late Betty Jane. Helen worked at General Cable in Des Plaines for 19 years, Seiko Watch Company in Des Plaines for 3 years, and was an active member of St. Peter Lutheran’s Young at Heart group.

She will be lying in state Wednesday, January 20th , from 9:00am until time of service 11:00am at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 202 E. Schaumburg Rd, Schaumburg, IL. Interment Memory Gardens. Donations to St. Peter Lutheran Church would be appreciated. Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory assisted the family with arrangements. 630-529-5751.
