Hector Gonzalez
November 9, 1942 — May 10, 2025
Loving husband to Maria Luisa Gonzalez for 62 years.
Caring and attentive father to Elizabeth (the late John) Trejo, Hector (Melissa) Gonzalez, Noemi (Frederico) Cintora, Marcela (Paul) Gonzalez, and Marybel (Wallace) Lynch. Grandfather to Jennifer, Frank, Natalie (Brendan), Cynthia, Julian, Maria, Jaclyn, Eva, Anthony, Christyan , Fred and Vince. Great- grandfather to Isaiah and Lili.
Hector provided for his family working construction for most of his adult life.
He enjoyed sharing conversations and meals with those around him, especially both his biological and church family.
Hector enjoyed the simple things in life, laughing, joking, playing family games, fishing, watching both movies and baseball, but mostly spending time with his family and being silly. He always had a hug ready for whoever needed one and kisses for his kids and grandkids.
A founding member of Iglesia de Cristo in Elgin, Hector was a pillar in his church family and a faithful member of the Church of Christ, living by example.
He has left a big void amongst those who loved him, he will be greatly missed.

would be appreciated.
