Schlinker of Schaumburg since 1981 will be held Thursday, August 15, 2013 3:00 - 8:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Friday 10:30a.m. until time of service at Our Redeemer's United Methodist Church 1600 W. Schaumburg Rd., Schaumburg. Cremation was private at the Countryside Crematory.
Born November 1, 1928 in Ft. Worth, TX, Harry died Sunday August 11, 2013.
Raised in San Pedro, CA, Harry served his country in the US Marine Corps. in the Korean War.
He is the beloved husband of 63 years of Nona Lee nee Vaughn; loving father of Laura Grund, Mark (Barbara), Sally Redd and Nancy (Derrick) Gallion; cherished grandfather of Rich (Jenn) Grund, Stephanie (Rod) Reasen,, Max Schlinker, Michael and Courtney Redd; proud great grandfather of Grace, Abbie, Luke and Asa Reasen, Addy Grund; dear brother of Rose Landier.
