Harold “Hal” E. Zorn, 64, of Elgin died March 29, 2017. Hal was the beloved husband of Laura (nee Becker); loving stepfather of Corey (Candy), Jason (Tanya) and Josiah (Angie) Gall; proud grandfather of Ethan, Reese, Ava, Josiah, Luke, Robert, Natalie and Rebecca; one great grandchild on the way. Cherished son of the late Harold and Elizabeth; fond brother of 2 brothers and 4 sisters; many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and friend to many. Hal was a wonderful father to Josiah. He worked at the Daily Herald and later owned his own business Mr. Mix.
A Celebration of life will be held on June 10, Hal’s 65th birthday. Details will be released at a later time. Please contact the family for further information. Cremation took place privately at Countryside Crematory.
