Visitation for Harold "Kemp" Kempema of Dewey, AZ, formerly of Streamwood will be held Saturday, January 9, 2016 9:30a.m. until time of service 11:30a.m. the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Interment Evergreen Cemetery, Barrington, IL.
A memorial service will be held in late spring at the Cornerstone Fellowship Church in Orchard Ranch, Prescott Valley, Arizona. The time and date for that will be announced at a later date.
Born June 8, 1932 in Rock Valley, IA, Kemp died Saturday, January 2, 2016.
He is the beloved husband of Donna nee Husman; loving father of Kathleen (Timothy) Haben, Karen (Jeffrey) Clark and Karl Kempema;step father of Valarie (Brian)Gatti, Brian (Robin)Powell and Kenn (Tami)Powell cherished grandfather Elizabeth, Greg and Annie Haben, Megan and Brian Clark, Drew, Sean and Kurt Kempema; step grandfather of 3;step great grandfather of 1; dear brother of Lloyd (Marcine) Kempema and their family. He is preceded in death by his first wife Nancy. Many loving nieces and nephews.
Kemp and Donna have lived in Prescott Valley, AZ for 5 years and met at Sunflower Resort in Surprise, AZ.
Kemp was a big fan of the Chicago Cubs and the Bears. He was very proud of his grandson currently serving in the military.
