Hagen C. Schuessler, 73, of Elgin, died January 22, 2013. Born July 11, 1939 in Chicago. He was the son of Carl and Lena (nee Hein). A proud member of the NRA and West Chicago Gun Club. Hagen enjoyed playing poker, watching the stocks and crosswords.
Survivors include daughters Debbie (Jerry) Buttice and Christine (Tony) Lomnicky and grandchildren Tyler, Matthew, Kailee, Brett, Alyssa, Stephen, Nathan and Andrew.
He was preceded in death by his wife Karen and his parents.
Visitation will be Sunday, January 27, 2013 from 2:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 95 S. Gilbert St (at Middle St), South Elgin. Funeral Monday 10:00a.m. at the funeral home. Interment Prairie Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Lung Association, www.lung.org, would be appreciated.
