Guillermo Gonzalez

Guillermo Gonzalez, 51, of Schaumburg, passed away peacefully August 5, 2019. Guillermo was the beloved husband of Elizabeth for 25 years; proud father of Cristian, Mateo, and Briana; cherished son of Miguel Angel and Maria Yolanda Gonzalez; loving brother of Maria (Martin) Garcia, Juan Pablo (Edith), Miguel (Melissa) and Gerardo (Nancy); dear grandson of Francisca Torres, the late Federico Torres, late Guillermo Gonzalez and the late Carmen Navarro; he will be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was close to his uncle Miguel Angel Torres, who was like a brother to him.

Guillermo was a member of the Knights of Columbus for over 10 years, and had worked for American Airlines for 16 years.

At a young age his passion as a DJ began always participating in family events. In addition, he participated in marching band and soccer in high school. Guillermo enjoyed being involved in his childrens' sports activities, coaching soccer and basketball. He loved drawing with his daughter, and was a great story teller. Guillermo was a big fan of the Packers, Cubs, and Black Hawks.

Visitation Friday, August 9, 3:00pm - 9:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 333 S. Roselle Road (1/2 mile South of Irving Park Road) Roselle. Funeral Mass Saturday at St. Walter Church, 10:30am. Interment St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
