Gregory Brian Verive

Greg Verive, 68, of Bartlett for 33 years, passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2026. An avid Chicago baseball fan, Greg was a devout dog lover. He was known for his generosity and sense of humor, as well as being the caretaker of his beloved family. Cherished son of Bernice (nee Nelson) and the late Dominic Verive; dear brother of Jeff (Lisa) Verive, Michael (Nancy) Verive, and Tony Verive; proud uncle of Nicole (Eric) Brett, Matthew Verive, Miranda Verive, and Jessica Verive. Visitation Monday, September 14 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.), Bartlett, IL. Funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 15 at 11:00am at the funeral home. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
