Gregory D. Stone (76) passed away on January 6, 2024. Gregory, fondly known as Greg, was born to Bernadette and Thomas Stone on July 10, 1947 in Chicago, IL.
He always had a passion for music and loved to play the keyboard, accordion, and guitar.
Gregory is survived by his wife Carol, and their four children Angela, Elizabeth, Joy, and Michelle. He is also survived by his 5 grandchildren, Jacob, Chase, Cole, Zachary, and Sommer. With his passion of music, he played keyboards and led the choir at St Ansgars church for 10+ years.
Greg’s family will host a wake at Countryside Funeral home (1640 S Greenmeadows Blvd Streamwood, IL ) on Thursday from 3-9. The funeral follows beginning Friday morning at 9:45, meeting at countryside for a short service and then proceeding to St Ansgar Church (2040 Laurel Ave Hanover Park, IL ) for the funeral mass at 10:30.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimer's Association at alz.org or masses would be appreciated. (630) 289-8054.
