Gregory Holmstrom

Greg Holmstrom, 60, of Bartlett; loving husband of Sandra, nee Kornfeind; dear dad of Eric and Justin; cherished Pa of Caden; nephew of Ed, Don and Arthur Miller, Diane (late Harry) DeClippel, late Kathy and the late Bill; uncle of many nieces and nephews; brother of Bridgette Moroney, Jane Baldwin, Michael Moroney, Sean Moroney and Holly Holmstrom; lovingly raised by his grandparents the late Edward and Edna Miller and was the biological son of Carol Moroney, nee Miller and Rueben Holmstrom. Unconditionally loved by the family dog, Apollo. Greg was the proud owner of Greg's Auto Service in Franklin Park. He enjoyed working on cars his whole life. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, hiking in the Western United States, going on cruises, going to estate sales, gardening and collecting military artifacts. Visitation Sunday April 15th, 1:00 pm until time of service 6:00 pm at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 333 South Roselle Rd. (1/2 mile South of Irving Park Road) Roselle. Cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory following services.
