Gregory Kent Boulnois, 55, from Elgin died Friday, February 1, 2019 at Christ Hospital after fighting and winning many battles with health issues. Greg was born June 25, 1963 in Paducah KY to David and Pearl Zike Boulnois. He was a wonderful loving husband to Kelly. A loving dad to his three children, son, Sam Boulnois of Hoffman Estates, daughter, Courtney (Dan) Conro of South Elgin, and son, Ben (Maggie) Kane of Madison, WI. A loving Grandpa to his five grandchildren. As well as a loving Brother, Uncle and Friend. He will be dearly missed. He also dearly loved his dog Pansy who he worked with and trained tirelessly.
Greg grew up in Carpentersville and graduated from Irving Crown High School and earned an Associate’s Degree from Judson University. He worked for the City of Elgin at the Water Treatment Plant for many years.
Greg was a member of Christ Community Church and as a Christ Follower was passionate about sharing his faith and the salvation message with all who would listen. He served as a Bible Study Group Leader and a Zone Leader and was cofounder of the Sportsmen Shooting Group.
Greg loved his country and the outdoors. He was a member of the NRA and was an avid shooter and fishermen.
Visitation and celebration of life services for Greg will be Friday, February 8, 2019 at Christ Community Church, 37W100 Bolcum Rd, St Charles, IL. from 11:00am until time of service 1:00pm. Burial to follow in Dundee Township Cemetery East. Info (847)289-8054
