"Grammy" Alita Jane Freitag (nee Harbison), 95, of South Elgin, formerly of Barrington. Alita was the beloved wife of the late Paul W.D. Freitag, Jr.; loving mother of Linda Deller; proud Grammy of Jamie (Mike) Garza; cherished great Grammy of Jesse (Breena) Rogers, Cole Casas, Isabel Vargas, Tito (Diamond) Casas, Tommy Vargas, Harlin Garza, Daniel Garza and Ace Garza; dear great great Grammy of Charlotte, Adrian, Lola, Benjiman, Virginio, Melani and Valentino. Grammy will be missed by her Grandpuppy Sara and her best friend Ana Garza.
Grammy loved being in Florida. She enjoyed being a member of the Garden Club and Book Club. Grammy liked to swim, play tennis and golf.
Visitation Sunday, November 20, 12:00pm until time of service 2:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 95 S. Gilbert Street (at State Street) South Elgin. Interment Fairview Cemetery, West Hartford, Connecticut.
