Gordon “Gordy” G. Boyer, 68, of Carol Stream, died Saturday, June 1, 2024. Born June 3, 1955 in Sioux City, Iowa. A manager at Thortons in Roselle for many years. Gordon loved sports and he could light up the room with his great sense of humor. He will be missed by many. Beloved father of Tim; cherished grandfather of Emma; loving son of the late Garth and Edna; dear brother of Jeff (Karen), Charmaine, Tawyna (Bob) Glabas, Max (Barbara), Barbara Tomaszkiewicz, Jennifer Kyprianidis and the late Garth Jr, Michelle and Amy. Cremation is private at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory with a memorial service to be held at a later date.
