Gordon Andrews

Gordon H. Andrews, 74, of South Elgin for many years died Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at home. Born September 26, 1948 in Chicago. Gordon was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in Vietnam. He was a post office worker for 25 years at the Arlington Heights Post Office. He loved hunting deer, fishing and was known for being generous. He will be missed by his family. Beloved husband of 51 years to Wanda; loving pops of James and the late Kenneth; cherished son of the late George and Elanor and kind brother of the late Georgianne. Visitation 3:00pm to 9:00pm with military honors scheduled at 5:30pm Monday, April 17, 2023 at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, South Elgin. Following services, cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory.
