Gordon was a dedicated family man who enjoyed camping trips, amusement parks, and other activities with his children. He was also an avid Chicago sports fan, a source of many years of frustration.
He and his wife Carol also enjoyed traveling, attending the theater, and elaborately decorating their home for the holidays.
