Glenn Frank Spachman

Glenn Frank Spachman, 82, of Roselle for 45 years, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 17, 2026. An Army Veteran, Glenn served several local communities as village manager, including 12 years in Roselle. He was baptized at Trinity Lutheran Church in 2013 when he became a member. He later served on Church Council. Glenn believed strongly in community service: He was a former Commissioner at the Roselle Park District, an active Rotarian at the Chicago-O'Hare Rotary Club, a board member of the Roselle History Museum, and a former Treasurer for the Friends of the Bohemian National Cemetery. Beloved husband of Susan Marjorie (née Seils) for 56 years; loving father of Bradley (Kimberly) and Sara (Mark Thompson) Spachman; proud grandfather of Julia and Amelia; dear brother of Carol Krauser and the late Charles "Chuckie" Spachman; devoted brother-in-law of Elizabeth (Kurt) Spooner and Dorothy (Chris) Vallillo; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation on Sunday, April 26 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 333 S. Roselle Rd., Roselle. Visitation will continue Monday from 10:00am until time of funeral service at 11:00am at Trinity Lutheran Church 405 Rush St., Roselle. Interment Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.
