He was a software consultant and Director of Alliances for the majority of his life.

At an early age Glenn developed a love of cars, starting from Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars and as he grew up he loved the muscle cars of the 70’s and 80’s. He loved all types of outdoor sports: water skiing, golfing, 16 inch men’s softball and riding bikes with his children when they were young through Grey Farm Park in Schaumburg every weekend during the summer months. As his children grew up he became more involved in their participation of sports. He coached Steve and Steph in soccer, and Janice in her many years of pitching in softball from Schaumburg AA softball through high school.

His musical tastes ranged from The Who, Guess Who, The Doobie Brothers, Styx, and many other classic rock bands from the 60’s and 70’s. His taste in movies and TV ranged from Disaster movies such as Volcano, Day After Tomorrow, Jaws, the Godfather series, Lethal Weapon, the Rocky series, Indiana Jones and especially old time Westerns with John Wayne and Clint Eastwood. There wasn’t an episode of NCIS that he missed and would watch re-runs time and time again. He lived out his love of cars by watching the MECUM auto auctions and his dream was to always own a muscle car.

He enjoyed the many family vacations from Disney World, Hilton Head, and Arizona and the Grand Canyon.

He will always be greatly missed, live forever in our hearts and memories, and as the verse from “God Saw He Was Getting Tired” “God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best”. Glenn was the best husband, father, and grandpa anyone would want. God Speed, Glenn, WE LOVE YOU!
