Glendel Oxford

Glendel “Bud” Oxford, 65, of Streamwood for 45 years; born November 3, 1946 in IL, he died August 21, 2012 in Hoffman Estates; beloved husband of the late Julia M. (nee Murray); loving father of Marna (Wayne) Michalik of Elgin; cherished grandfather of Corey and Jason; dear son to the late Robert and Fiona (nee Ozee); fond brother of the late Lendell “Ray” and Wendell “Wink”; many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends . He loved his motorcycle and bowling. Visitation Sunday 3:00-8:00 PM at the Countryside Funeral Home & Crematory, 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.), Streamwood/Schaumburg. Funeral Monday 11:30 AM at the funeral home. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org, will be appreciated.
