Gisele Danner

Gisele L. Danner, 81, of Mt. Prospect died Monday, June 29, 2009. Born July 14, 1927 in Heidelberg, Germany, she was the daughter of Hans and Katharina, nee Strässer, Winkenbach. She was a loving wife, daughter, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and gardening.
Survivors include daughter Karina E. (James) Koptik; grandchildren Zachary, Katerina and Isabella; brothers Hans Winkenbach and Karlheinz Strässer; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Elmer L., son Hannes K. and her parents.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home, 333 S. Roselle Rd, Roselle. Prayers Thursday at 9:30 a.m. going to St. Walter, 10 a.m. Mass. Follow the service cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Cardinal Bernardin Cancer Center at Loyola University Medical Center would be appreciated.
