Gilberto Gaytan

Gilberto Gaytan, 70, of Schaumburg. Loving father of Lydia (Russell) Zirk, and Christina (Jonathan Valencia); dear brother of Esther Gaytan, Maria Victoria (Ignacio) Garcia, and Maria (Jose) Puente; cherished grandfather of Alejandro, Samantha, Yesenia, Angel, Maya, Sophia, and Natalie; former husband of Gloria (nee Cornejo); fond son of the late Pablo and Victoria (nee Luna). He was a very funny man and a great storyteller who loved his children and grandchildren, and he will be greatly missed.

Visitation Friday, November 27, 3:00pm – 8:00pm, Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd (at Barrington Rd) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Funeral Saturday 10:30am. Interment Resurrection Cemetery 12:30pm. Information 630-289-8054.
