Gilbert Struck

Gilbert Paul Struck, 82, of Streamwood, died Tuesday, December 1, 2015. Born February 16, 1933 in Chicago. Gilbert was a veteran having served in the U.S. Army. He was a mechanic for United for 36 years and loved dogs and fast cars. Gilbert was an avid Bears and Blackhawks fan who loved spending time with his family. Beloved husband of 54 years to Barbara (nee Smyers); loving father of Cindy Struck and Debbie Platt; cherished son of Frank and Columbia (nee Palubicki) Struck; dear brother of Marion, Gregory and the late Frank and Geraldine; fond owner of Camilla. Memorial visitation 11:00a.m. until time of memorial service 12:30p.m. Saturday, December 5, 2015 at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd (at Stearns Rd), Bartlett.
