Gertrude Veronica Burton née Kidd 96 of Schaumburg died July 7, 2025.
Gertrude was the loving wife of the late William for 69 years; loving mother of the late Yvette (Chuck) Koubek, Denise (the late Rick) White, Jeannine (the late Jack) Darrah, William Jr. (the late Diane) Burton, Jamie ( Mike) Molitor, and Robert (Angie)Burton; proud grandmother of 18 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her loving husband William, loving daughter Yvette, her parents John and Gertrude Kidd, and her brothers John (Wilhelmina) Kidd and Thomas Kidd.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital www.stjude.org would be appreciated.
