I was born to gentle people Lawrence and Mary (nee Kline) Kocher on August 20, 1932. I had three sisters who preceded me in death; Katheline (Bernard) Jacobson, Dolores (Steve) Brachmann and Irene (Edward) Tudor.
I enjoyed walking and also going to breakfast once a month with some of the ladies from church. As my children got married or went into the service or just moved, I was happy for them, but sad that they left. I loved to bake, knit and visit with friends and family. I also loved wearing a hat at church, shopping and going to the senior center, as people who did not know my name, but called me “the hat lady.” I am taking the best one when I go. I had an interesting and happy life.
To my family – Always remember me as loving you.
Geraldine is survived by her children Deborah, David (Peggy), Darren, Dean (Sheri), Darryl and Danielle (Steve); grandchildren Dana, Ryan, Lynsey, Kelly, Christine and Erin; great grandchildren Alyssa and Harper. She was preceded in death by her husband Chester and granddaughter Ashley.
