Gerald Pinka, age 55 of Streamwood, IL was called home to God on December 10, 2011 after his battle with cancer.
Beloved son of the late Peter and the late Eleanor, nee Jordanek. Loving father of Margaret and John. Dear twin bother of Gary(Pat). Proudly worked as facilities operating engineer at Columbia College of Chicago and member of the Operating Engineers Union Local 399. Gerald loved to fish and hunt. He will be missed by family and friends.
A "celebration of life" service on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at 8:00 p.m. at Countryside Funeral Home 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd.(at Barrington Rd.) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Family will be greeting guests beginning at 5:00 p.m. Interment Thursday at St. Adalbert Cemetery 6800 N. Milwaukee Ave., Niles, IL
