Gerald Michels, 78, of Schaumburg, beloved husband of Sharon, nee Schultz; loving father of Debbie (Bob) Doherty, Jeff (Joan), Brian (Tracy), and Kevin; dear brother of Robert (Janet) and Diane (Jay) Pfeiffer. Gerald was the cherished grandfather of Amy (Alan), Heather (Zach), Brittany (Chris), Ryan, Brianna, Jake, Maci, Jenna, Scott, Ashley(Jay), Shaun and the late Caitlyn. Proud great-grandfather of Parker, Connor, Makenzie and Nathan. Brother-in-law of Janice (Tom) Tulinski and Larry (Linda) Schultz; fond father-in-law of the late Jodie, and many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation is Friday, September 1st, 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm, at the Countryside Funeral Homes and Crematory, 1640 South Green Meadows Blvd. (At Barrington Rd., Streamwood/Schaumburg, Il.) Funeral Saturday, September 2nd, 10:00 am at the Countryside Funeral Homes and Crematory. Interment at St. Adalbert Cemetery
