Gerald Hedberg

Gerald "Jerry" L. Hedberg,80, of Bartlett, fomerly of Streamwood passed away peacefully with his son at his side Tuesday evening. He was the loving husband for 54 years of the late Muriel, nee Gage; cherished dad of Robert (Denise); proud son of the late Lawrence and Mable Hedberg dear brother of Larry (Nancy), Glen (Diane), the late Merle and the late Patsy Jean; Grandpa of Rob(Sarah), Christopher, Rebecca(Scott) Risoff; great grandpa of Michael, Joseph, Natalie, Alexander, Matthew, C.J., and the late Lucas; uncle of Tracey, Mark, Pam, Hilary and Adam.
Jerry was someone who loved life. He worked hard and played hard. He loved to travel, dance, work in his yard and cheer on the Chicago Cubs. Life Changers International Church was a very big part of his life. Visitation will be Friday 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd.(at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Funeral Saturday where his body will be lying in state from 10:00 am until the time of his service 11:00 am at Life Changers International Church 2500 Beverly Road, Hoffman Estates, Il. 60192. Interment Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations to the Leukemia Foundation or the Alzheimers Association would be appreciated.
